What this policy covers
This policy covers the ScalePod pre-launch website and its waitlist, and nothing else. It explains what we collect when you join the waitlist, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
What we collect when you join the waitlist
When you join the waitlist, we collect:
- Your full name.
- Your phone number, together with the country code you selected.
- A record of the consent you gave: when you gave it and the version of the consent wording you agreed to.
To help prevent abuse, we also keep a keyed, one-way hash of your IP address to limit repeated attempts. It is not linked to your name or phone number, and we delete these records regularly.
Why we collect it
We use these details for one purpose: to let you know by SMS when ScalePod launches and when pre-orders open. We do not use them for anything else, and we do not sell them.
Legal basis
We process your details on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the checkbox on the waitlist form.
Where your details are stored
Your details are stored securely with our hosting provider, Supabase. Access is limited to the ScalePod team.
Who we share them with
We share your details with the SMS delivery provider we use to send you the messages. Beyond that, we only share them if the law requires it.
How long we keep them
We keep your details until pre-orders open and for a reasonable period afterwards, or until you ask us to remove you, whichever comes first.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe at any time by replying STOP to any message we send, or by contacting us. You can also ask to see, correct or delete the details we hold about you.
Analytics
The site does not send names, phone numbers or form contents to any analytics tool.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date shown at the top.
